Ship repair firm fined for environmental violations

The department detected four violations by the company, including a lack of environmental impact assessment report, improper implementation of the environmental protection scheme, discharge of wastewater beyond technical standards, and failing to report on results of exploitation and water resource use.

The provincial authorities suspended the operations of the company for  一 二 months.

The company was required to complete the legal procedures for the environmental protection scheme soon.
